Ke Palmerah
Stasiun Tanahabang (THB) merupakan stasiun kereta api yang terletak di jalan Jatibaru, Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat. Stasiun yang terletak pada ketinggian +9 m ini berada di Daerah Operasi I Jakarta. Stasiun Tanahabang diresmikan pada tahun 1890 oleh perusahaan kereta api swasta Hindia Belanda yang bernama Batavia Oosterspoorweg (BOS). Stasiun ini berada di timur Kanal Banjir Barat, dan di selatan Jembatan Layang Kalibaru. Seperti halnya Jakarta Kota, Stasiun Tanahabang adalah tempat pemberangkatan awal bagi kereta api lokal tujuan Rangkas Bitung sampai dengan Merak. Bangunan asli stasiun ini telah dibongkar dan digantikan dengan bentuk bangunan berlantai dua seperti sekarang.

Insiden

  • Pada bulan Januari 2007, terjadi banjir yang menggenangi Stasiun Tanahabang. Akibatnya, jalur perjalanan KA terganggu.
  • Pada tanggal 10 Februari 2007 pukul 8.47, KA Ekonomi 906 Tanahabang-Rangkasbitung anjlok ketika hendak berangkat dari Stasiun Tanahabang. Kejadian tersebut berlangsung karena sistem persinyalan kereta yang belum berfungsi dengan baik akibat banjir besar yang melanda Jakarta beberapa pekan sebelumnya.
  • Pada tanggal 31 Oktober 2008 pukul 9.55, 3 gerbong Kereta Barang Batubara bernomor KA 2012 anjlok di Stasiun Tanahabang. Peristiwa ini kemungkinan besar disebabkan kelalaian masinis mengerem kereta di atas wesel.
  • Pada bulan Januari 2013, terjadi banjir yang menggenangi Stasiun Tanahabang. Akibatnya, jalur perjalanan KA terganggu.
